The Club meets on the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Terrace Room of the Lake Monticello Clubhouse.Monthly meetings usually consist of a brief business meeting, followed by an informative program by a guest speaker. Recent meetings have featured presentations from local computer businesses and Internet Service Providers. Our quarterly newsletter contains many interesting articles and reviews. The LMCUG web site (http://lmcug.apcug.org) has reports and photos of our activities, as well as computing tips, useful links, and special offers. LMCUG members receive discounts from several local computer repair services. Our popular Genealogy group has regular meetings to discuss researching your family tree. LMCUG is a member of the Association of Personal Computer User Groups, an international organization that is supported by many computer-related companies. Because of this, we can offer discounts, products for review, and great door prizes. Beginners are welcome! Our “Help Squad” is available to give individualized support. We invite you to attend a meeting as our guest. Annual dues are $12, and there is also a special family rate of $20. Dues are prorated quarterly for new members.
