2004
Lake Computing was given the award for second place in APCUG's annual newsletter contest. It was a 4-way tie in the small newsletter category.

1999
Lake Computing newsletter won honorable mention for best column (by Kerry Favro) in the small newsletter category in the APCUG newsletter contest. Our Web Site won honorable mention for integrity.
 

1998
In a contest run by the Gotham New York user group, Lake Computing newsletter was runner-up for the best column (written by Kirt Doersch) in the small newsletter category.
